John Marshall House

Agecroft Hall

In the mid-1920's, Agecroft was purchased, in England, by a Virginia businessman, Thomas C. Williams Jr. It was disassembled, shipped across the Atlantic, and rebuilt on 23 acres of carefully groomed land next to the James River in Richmond. Agecroft Hall has for the last forty years been open to the public as a museum depicting life in the Tudor and Stuart periods of English history.
